Mosman Park Tennis Club was recognised for our contribution to the community at the Town of Mosman Park’s Australia Day Celebrations.
Presented by the Mayor, the Active Citizenship Award acknowledged our club’s commitment to the local community and promoting tennis and physical activity to residents.
Our Club President David Knox said he was thrilled for our members.
“This award is well deserved. Our members have put in a lot of effort to make this club what is today – a great club for all ages and all abilities,” David said.
“We have excellent facilities, lots of playing options and a wonderful sense of community.
“Our club is known for being welcoming, fun and supportive. We have members from near and far – even as far as Canada,” David said.
2019 will be an exciting year for the Club – with lots of social tennis, competitions, coaching and community events planned.
